Job Description

We are looking for suitable and qualified candidate for the following
position: CLNICAL INSTRUCTOR
(Specialize in Cardiovascular Technology) for
GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN CARDIOVASCULAR AND THORACIC SCIENCES PROGRAMME

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Programme in development, review, implementation and

evaluation of educational programmes or courses conducted for the Graduate
Certificate in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Sciences and others future related
programme in the fields.

• Assist in and for implementation and evaluation of students teaching and learning

activities and assessment in theoretical and practical.

• Assist the head of programme for administrative duties for the Graduate Certificate

in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Sciences.

• Working closely with internal and external associates to ensure the success of the

programmes.

• Working closely with Consultants, Clinical specialists, the nursing group, the

paramedics and support groups in the organization to support, develop, implement
and evaluate interdisciplinary programmes from inception, development and
implementation and evaluation.

• Involved with research and development activities for programme improvement and

others related research.

• Ensure compliance with policies of governing bodies. Monitor adherence to rules,

regulations and procedures as stipulated by relevant governing bodies.

• Plans, promote and supports marketing activities to garner optimum enrollment of

students or participants

• Develop and conduct the conference, symposium, workshop and training as part of

yearly clinical activities.

Requirements

• Possess Master Degree in related fields; or Bachelor of Nursing/ Biomedical

Sciences; or equivalent.

• Possesses Graduate Certificate in Cardiovascular and Thoracic sciences; or

equivalent.

• Experience in teaching and learning activities in theoretical and practical; or

teaching Permit is preferred; or an added advantage.

• Minimum 5 years working experience as Clinical Specialist; or Clinical Instructor;

or Preceptor for Cardiovascular Technology Programmes and 5 years working
experience in related field.

• Capable and competent in lecturing, coordinating, scheduling.

• Good communication skills and computer literate.
