Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and talented Cloud and DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) processes. As a Cloud and DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructures, enhancing our CICD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Maintenance:

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Monitor cloud resources and proactively optimize for performance and cost efficiency.
• Configure and implement security measures in the cloud environment to ensure data protection.

DevOps CICD Deployment:

• Implement and enhance CICD processes across various technologies and development projects.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure efficient and automated deployments.
• Identify areas for improvement in the CICD pipeline and drive the implementation of best practices.

Preventive and Corrective Maintenance:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to keep systems running smoothly.
• Proactively monitor cloud-based systems and DevOps environments, responding to incidents and alerts as needed.
• Conduct root cause analyses for issues in both cloud infrastructure and CICD processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Cloud and DevOps roles.
• Proficiency with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including resource management and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with CICD tools and methodologies, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Skills and Competencies:

• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure management and optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and implementation.
• Expertise in automating deployment processes and configuration management.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Strong grasp of networking concepts in cloud and DevOps contexts.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools for both cloud and DevOps environments.
