Job Description

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure

Technical Skill

:

1. Proficient in Azure services: Azure VM, Kubernetes Service (AKS) Entra ID, Cosmos, Service Bus, Storage, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Data Factory, Fabric, Synapse, Azure Firewall, App Gateway, etc.

2. Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.

3. Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python).

4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.

5. Strong understanding of networking, identity management, and security in Azure.

Certifications (Preferred):

1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

2. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

3. Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure.

2. Implement and maintain IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS components to support business requirements.

3. Automate and maintain deployment and configuration using tools like Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.

4. Collaborate closely with application and development teams to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system and integration issues.

5. Coordinate with on-premises infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration, operational alignment, and continuity across hybrid environments

6. Monitor and optimize the cost, performance and availability of Azure resources.

7. Apply FinOps principles to proactively manage Azure budgets, usage trends, and cost-saving opportunities.

8. Ensure cloud security and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

9. Provide support for incident resolution and troubleshooting within Azure environments.

10. Maintain documentation and diagrams for architecture, configuration, and procedures.

11. Stay up-to-date with Azure updates, features, and best practices

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 17 months

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
