WHAT'S THE ROLE?


As a Cloud Solution Architect, you shape the future of Hilti's Marketing and Sales integration platform. Your role will be to design secure, scalable and reliable solutions that drive operational excellence and enable seamless customer interaction with Hilti across our physical and digital channels. You provide technical guidance and craft directions for building the future-ready architecture, along with implementing the best practices and latest cyber security standards.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?


In close collaboration with different cross-functional teams, you define the end-to-end integrations in the Marketing and Sales middleware, connecting core systems (SAP, Salesforce, Workday etc.) and exposing cloud services to internal and customer-facing applications. You understand stakeholders' needs, as opposed to wants, and clearly explain risks and trade-offs of possible solutions. It is your responsibility to evaluate and design scalable cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring compliance with security and architecture standards. Together with other architects, you guard the integrity of the architecture by finding the right balance between innovation, technical feasibility, long-term sustainability, and agile delivery, without compromising quality, security and reliability. You are encouraged to assess new technologies and techniques for practical application to business problems and strategic initiatives, as well as identify potential improvements of the existing system landscape.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:





At least Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. At least 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Lead Developer or comparable role with system integration, enterprise architecture, or software development background. Proven track record in designing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS, microservice & serverless architectures, data management patterns, and/or event-driven integration. Experience with agile development methodologies and testing approaches, distributed version control, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of integration technologies and patterns of SAP and Salesforce is an advantage. Strong analytical skills, structured approach to problem solving, and desire to continuously explore new technologies. Ability to adaptively communicate with developers, other architects, management as well as business stakeholders. Fluency in English (written and spoken).
