Requirements

• 2-4 years' experience in merchant acquisition / business development (preferably in fintech, loyalty, e-wallets, F&B, or retail solutions).
• Candidates must possess at least Diploma
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding merchant recruitment targets.
• Strong network in F&B, retail, or lifestyle sectors.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable with field sales, cold calling, and face-to-face meetings.
• Self-driven, energetic, and target-oriented.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin/Bahasa Malaysia an added advantage.

Plus Point

• Experience from GrabFood, ShopeePay, TnG, Boost, Fave, StoreHub, or similar.
• Existing merchant contacts that can be onboarded immediately.
• Knowledge of digital rewards, loyalty programs, and payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new merchants in targeted sectors (F&B, retail, lifestyle, services).
• Present Bello's value proposition and convince merchants to join the platform.
• Negotiate terms and packages (pricing, reward structures, campaigns).
• Work with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding & training for merchants.
• Build and maintain strong merchant relationships to drive engagement and retention.
• Achieve monthly acquisition targets (number of new merchants onboarded, active merchants).
• Gather merchant feedback and relay to the product/marketing team for improvement.
