Job Description

The Change and CMDB Analyst is responsible for supporting and administering the Change Management and Configuration Management processes. This role ensures that changes are assessed, scheduled, and implemented with minimal disruption, and that configuration data is accurate, complete, and up to date within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Job responsibilities:

Change Management:

Review and assess change requests for completeness, risk, and business impact. Ensure changes are properly categorized, prioritized, and assigned for approval. Schedule and coordinate changes, ensuring they are implemented within defined maintenance windows and with minimal disruption. Monitor and track change implementation and verify successful completion. Support post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned. Ensure compliance with Change Management policies, standards, and SLAs.

Configuration Management (CMDB):

Maintain and update the CMDB with accurate and current configuration item (CI) data. Assist in defining and maintaining CI classes, attributes, and relationships. Perform regular audits of the CMDB to identify and correct discrepancies. Support impact analysis by providing accurate CI relationships and dependencies. Ensure data integrity and completeness across all CI records. Collaborate with service owners, technical teams, and asset management to validate and update CI data.

Reporting and Governance:

Generate reports and metrics for change management (e.g., change success rates, failed changes, emergency changes). Provide CMDB health and data quality reports. Support audits and compliance activities with data and process evidence. Participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings, providing insights and support.

Job requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. ITIL Foundation certification required; Intermediate certifications (e.g., Service Transition, RCV) preferred. 2-4+ years of experience in ITSM with exposure to Change Management and CMDB maintenance. Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy). Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and services. Able to support Indonesia Business hours Will observe Indonesia Public Holiday
