Team Management: Lead and manage a team of CNC Engineer, programmers, and maintenance technicians. This includes hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating staff performance.
Scheduling and Planning: Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects and optimal use of CNC machine
Budget Management: Oversee the budgeting process for the CNC department, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of quality.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all CNC operations comply with safety regulations and company policies. Implement safety training programs and enforce safe work practices.
Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Workflow Optimization: Streamline CNC machining processes to maximize efficiency, minimize downtime, and improve overall productivity.
Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets and deadlines.
Maintenance Oversight: Ensure regular maintenance and calibration of CNC machinery to prevent breakdowns and maintain precision.
Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of raw materials, tooling, and spare parts, ensuring timely procurement and minimal downtime.
Process Development: Develop and optimize CNC machining processes and techniques to improve product quality, reduce cycle times, and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Programming and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for CNC programming, setup, and troubleshooting complex machining issues.
Tooling Management: Select, maintain, and manage the inventory of cutting tools and fixtures. Evaluate and implement new tooling technologies to enhance performance.
Innovation and Technology: Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC technology and integrate new technologies to improve operations.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of CNC machining processes into the overall manufacturing workflow.
Reporting and Feedback: Prepare regular reports on CNC operations, including production metrics, efficiency, and quality performance. Provide feedback to senior management for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, Precision Engineering or any other related field.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in CNC Engineering and manufacturing.
Experience in Automotive product, or manufacturing industries preferred.
Familiarity with IATF standards and other relevant quality standards.
