Requirements

• Possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including setup, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
• Ability to perform tooling setup and adjustments to ensure optimal machining performance.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and the ability to interpret and modify programs.
• Familiar with Siemens UG NX software to create/modify CNC programs
• Capability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient in using various measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
• Fluency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and understand technical documentation.
• Willingness to work on-site in Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and technical drawings.
• Perform tooling setup, including selecting, installing, and adjusting cutting tools to ensure optimal machining performance.
• Write, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs (G-code) to optimize machining processes and ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining parameters and tolerances.
• Utilize precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and conformance to quality standards.
• Familiar with Siemens UG NX software to create/modify CNC programs
• Maintain CNC machines and equipment, including performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting minor issues, and coordinating repairs with maintenance personnel.
• Collaborate with engineers and other machinists to develop and improve machining processes and resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
