Key Responsibilities
Accountability & Authority
Operate CNC machines according to programmed instructions, setup sheets, and blueprints in compliance with standard shop practices.
Perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, tapping, boring, reaming, and countersinking on various parts.
Review setup sheets and specifications to determine machining sequence, setup procedures, and required dimensions.
Modify setups when necessary to ensure parts meet specifications.
Complete all make-ready repairs and services in compliance with inspection requirements and deadlines.
Maintain product quality and ensure work area cleanliness and safety compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining tasks including drilling, grinding, and milling.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical schematics.
Translate job specifications into computer commands to ensure accurate machine operation.
Follow instructions provided by the CNC Leader, Production Manager , or Plant Manager.
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform welding operations as needed, including repair or modification of components using manual or semi-automatic equipment.
Maintain tools and equipment in safe, operational condition.
Demonstrate potential for promotion to Department Lead or Supervisor based on performance
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of CNC programming and OCTG processes.
Proficient in reading AutoCAD or technical drawings.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Minimum education: SPM or equivalent.
Minimum
1-2 years of experience
operating CNC machines in a
manufacturing environment.
Fresh graduates from TVET institutions are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with relevant technical training or internship experience will be given priority.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and propose effective solutions.
Basic understanding of production procedures and safety protocols.
