Cnc Operator
Job Description
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling or turning machines.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
Select, install, and align cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
Perform machine setup adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications.
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
Record production data such as dimensions, quantities, and equipment performance.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools.
Identify and report any equipment issues or deviations from quality standards.
Work closely with supervisors and quality control teams to maintain product accuracy.
Follow company safety policies and ensure a clean, organized work area.
