Job Description

Job responsibilities:

To operate, set up, and program CNC milling and turning machines using Fanuc and Fagor controls. To perform BTC threading, casing threading, pile threading, and wellhead machining with high precision. To read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and G-code programs to ensure accuracy. To conduct quality inspections using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.). To troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency. To maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and oil & gas industry standards. To perform regular machine maintenance and tool calibration to ensure optimal performance. To collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve machining processes.

Qualification(s):

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CNC machinist, with the oil and gas manufacturing sector will be advantage. Strong knowledge of Fagor and Fanuc G-code programming. Experience in BTC threading, casing threading, pile threading, and wellhead machining is required. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machining blueprints. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control processes. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work in rotational shifts or overtime when necessary. Certification in CNC machining or a related technical field. Experience with multi-axis CNC machines. Knowledge of oil & gas industry safety and quality standards (API, ISO, etc.). Willing to relocate to Australia.
