Job Description

1. Experienced in Master-CAM, NX CADCAM software.

2. Reviews 3D CAD design blueprints.

3. Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut. Optimized Material Cut-Size

4. Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests.

5. Determines sequence of operations in a program.

6. Develop cutting tools list.

7. Analyzes job order and performs necessary calculations.

8. Writes programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiency.

9. Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs.

10. Working with Jig & Fixture Design Engineer to optimize operation sequence and reduce cycle time.

11. Makes improvements to set up times for a task and contouring of complex shapes.

12. Simplifies tooling time for workers and increases productivity.

13. Evaluates all completed designs to validate their functions and ensure they successfully reduce time and cost.

14. Monitors all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task.

15. Provides training for operation personnel on automated systems (MES).

16. Complies with all safety rules and regulations.

17. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.

18. Maintains project data base by entering and backing up data.

19. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

20. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Minimum Qualification

1. Bachelor's or Master of Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, Engineering, or other related discipline required

2. Two to Three years of project experience working in the Mechanical, Machining (CNC) industry is required.

3. Engineering Project Certification is added advantage.

4. Experience with large manufacturing facilities is added advantage

Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools, exposure to schedule software, preferably Primavera (P6) preferred

1. Ability to work overtime whenever needed

2. Ability to support subordinate whenever needed

3. Ability to support Night Shift Operation

4. Willing to learn beyond job scope

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
