Responsibilities

The CNC Machinist/CNC Set-Up Specialist will perform manufacturing duties, including CNC machining or Specialized Equipment Operation, as required to ensure the team meets all goals and objectives.



Specific responsibilities of the CNC Machinist/CNC Set-Up Specialist include, but are not limited to, the following:



Set-up and operate CNC and/or other specialized equipment. Use CNC lathes, mills and grinders Interpret blueprints and guide sheets Perform dimensional and visual inspections to blueprint using standard gages and CMM, perform GD&T as well as other quality procedures Perform some hand finishing, laser marking and parts cleaning and other general tasks Participate in team's continuous improvement initiatives Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting
