Analyse drawings, sketches and design data to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, machine speeds and feed rates.
Prepare CNC programming with CAD/CAM software, monitoring CNC programs and ensure accuracy of all instructions through comparison with drawing and design.
Setting CNC programs for new products and determine new fixture for manufacturing.
Able to determine correct cutting tools in order to reduce machining times, remove additional operations, improve surface finishing and enhance accuracy levels.
Create and compile necessary documents to aid setting up of CNC machines, including instruction sheets on cutter tools setup.
To establish or review safety work procedures in order to ensure all works performed are compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines.
What We're Looking For:
Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/related field or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in CNC machining, setup, and operation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
