Job Description
Job Position CNC TURNING PROGRAMMER ( GELANG PATAH )s
- Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints
- Use computer software to write programs, establish sequence of operations, model cutting paths and program machines accordingly
- Check completed programs by running simulations or test
- Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
- Select proper tools / fixtures / attachments required to cut materials and program machines accordingly
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise
- Supervise the operators in the machining department
- Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs
- Minimum 3-4 years of machining centre experience and knowledge
- Read and interpret technical drawing
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Able to use NX program for programming purposes
