Oodles Learning is a leading Math tuition and enrichment organisation with 13 centres in Singapore. Oodles Learning is planning to expand our footprint to Malaysia and we are looking for an energetic, passionate and ambitious person to fill the role of Coach Recruitment and Training (Executive).

Reporting to the Country Manager of Malaysia, the successful applicant will work in the Oodles Learning Malaysia Headquarters, Kuala Lumpur. This position is a full-time, permanent position.

  • Bachelor\'s degree from a reputable university; degree in Mathematics or related studies will be advantageous
  • Master\'s degree in Education Administration, Human Resources or Business (advantageous)
  • Recruitment and HR/training experience (required)
  • Ability to develop and manage a teacher network throughout Malaysia
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with recruitment partners
  • Strong English written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to present/conduct training to large groups with confidence
  • Proactive with good organisation and planning skills
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and research for required business information
  • Strong PC skills, including the ability to prepare Word, Excel and PowerPoint proposals and spreadsheets
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
Tanggungjawab

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Source, recruit, and train coaches to enable the organisation to fulfil its mission and vision as Malaysia\'s premium education company.
  • Work with the Malaysia senior management team to ensure that Oodles Learning (OL) Malaysia delivers all OL programmes to a consistently high standard, thus maximising student retention and growth.
Sourcing
  • Assume responsibility for sourcing candidates to meet forecasted and non-forecasted needs.
  • Develop and actively manage a coach sourcing pipeline to generate a pool of potential candidates.
  • Develop and actively manage strategic relationships with recruitment agencies and partners.
Recruitment and Selection
  • Interview suitably experienced and qualified candidates.
  • Discuss proposed new coaches with the franchisee(s), and organise second interviews if necessary.
  • Once selected, draft and send both letter of offer and health declaration form.
Coach On-boarding and Pre-Deployment Training
  • Ensure that the new coaches are prepared for their pre-deployment training.
  • Conduct the HR orientation for all new coaches, ensuring all coaches have a complete understanding and agree to the terms stated in the employment agreement and employee handbook.
  • Conduct post-training follow-up, formal teaching observations and feedback sessions per OL\'s professional development policy and coach confirmation process.
Ongoing Academic Guidance and Support for the Teaching Team and Learning Centre Staff
  • Forecast and deliver re-training to OL coaches where required.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to centre staff where required
  • Forecast, plan, and deliver workshops and seminars as needed per Singapore Headquarters\' ongoing professional development initiative.
  • In collaboration with the Singapore headquarters academic team, develop and deliver additional coach training for curriculum updates, holidays and other ad-hoc programmes, as when required/requested.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Operations, Marketing and Regional Teams:
  • Assist OL centres in organising relief coaches during coach shortages.
  • Vetting copywriting for promotional materials, brochures and articles where required
  • Be part of the team for special events, road shows, exhibitions and seminars for brand promotion.
  • Work with franchise partners to ensure academic standards across all centres in Malaysia.
  • Work with the academic team in Singapore Headquarters on ad hoc coach development projects.
