SUMMARY OF THE ROLESupport Decorative segment on color scheme advice for customers, and upgrade and renovate showrooms\xe2\x80\x99 interior layout, samples and color schemes in a fashion that makes showrooms more appealing to customers.
This position will be based at Shah Alam, Selangor and reporting to Specifications Manager.Prepare layout designs and paint system applications for showrooms as requested by Decorative segment.Visit dealers\xe2\x80\x99 showrooms to inspect renovation possibilities and design and apply renovation designs accordingly.Support projects with color scheme proposals to consultants, architects and specifiers.Coordinate with Applicators, Sales Executives and dealers regarding color scheme adjustments and applications.Provide training and seminars about color schemes to external customers.Provide customers/specifiers with colour schemes and co-ordinate with Sales Department and architects to ensure that good colour combinations contributes to customers choosing Jotun products.Follow up with Sales Department on colour scheme deliveries by ensuring them a good service.Assist and co-ordinate with Sales Department and architect companies to ensure they are satisfied with our services.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFERQualificationsDiploma with minimum 1 year of relevant experience required in Interior Design/ Interior Architecture/ Visual Communication/ Graphic Design.Experienced in using AutoCad or Adobe Photoshop.Passionate about colours.Personal QualitiesActs on own initiative, makes things happen and accepts responsibility for the results.Executes plans with commitment and determination; achieves high quality results.Uses a methodical and systematic approach; plans ahead, defines clear priorities and allocates resources effectively.Co-operates well with others; shares knowledge, experience and information; supports others in the pursuit of team goals.Demonstrates specialist knowledge and expertise in own area; participates in continuous professional development.Communicates in a clear, precise, and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively.What we offerWe are a fast-growing paint and coatings company with proven financial success.Career development encompassing on-the-job experiences and Jotun Academy, our in-house development academy.Best-in-class paint products that are unparalleled in quality.We are a values-driven organization where Respect, Loyalty, Care and Boldness are core to the culture and success of our organization.POSITION INFORMATIONCompany: Jotun Paints (Malaysia) Sdn.
