Your new role This commercial finance manager for a FMCG company job description includes the following duties and responsibilities: Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and forecasts Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers of the FMCG business Evaluate the profitability and performance of existing and new products, markets, channels, and customers Support the development and implementation of business strategies, initiatives, and projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency, cost management, and inventory control Monitor and manage financial risks, opportunities, and challenges Evaluate brand/product and channel profitability. Review and evaluate promotional investments Support and provide feasibility and analysis on new programs, projects or joint ventures Evaluate, monitor and control sales and marketing investment Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and accounting standards What you\'ll need to succeed Must have a Bachelor degree / Professional qualification in Accounting/finance or Business Administration related fields Minimum 5 years of working experience, preferably with experience in Commercial Finance, Financial Modelling or Strategic Planning. Experienced working in a manufacturing / FMCG industry Strong financial literacy and understanding of interrelationship of financials inputs on the business Developing business plans and, financial models / projections of strategic initiatives and new products/services Excellent decision-making skills Highly meticulous, diligent, resourceful and independent, ability to multitask and prioritise. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills in English Strong MS Office skills including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
