Job Description


As a Commercial Trade Executive, you will be the face of GSK for Malaysian pharmacies. You will be expected to demonstrate high level of professionalism and possess the required skills to support the sales of GSK products. You will be responsible to meet expectations, aligned to GSK\'s Way of Working and deliver sales targets through KPIs, for the total GSK product portfolio, creating a plan of action to meet goals and objectives, in accordance with the Business Unit strategy. You will be required to drive brand awareness and knowledge in the pharmacy sector through face-to-face engagements and MCM, as per the set KPIs.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Responsible for independent pharmacies in assigned territory, to develop and maintain strong working relations, and develop territory business plan to deliver on sales targets.
  • Create and execute an effective plan of action with prioritization and focus to deliver in accordance with set KPIs.
  • Maximize use of resource provided to achieve territorial goals i.e. digital touchpoints, events, activities.
  • Accountable for self-development in your role.
  • Timely reporting ensuring all expectations are met i.e. Veeva submission/sync, elearnings, business planning, etc.
  • Attend and participate actively in various internal and external meetings \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible to drive the right attendance for GSK events.
  • Merchandising GSK products in the pharmacy point of sales and support materials for maximum impact
  • Ensure prompt communication and management of supply for total GSK portfolio.
  • Ensure daily executions are in line with GSK\xe2\x80\x99s governance and compliance standards.
  • Identify new business opportunities and evaluate the sales potential of existing customers to develop an effective business plan.

  • Sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Bachelor\'s degree
Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Pharmacy or nursing background (with commercial experience)
  • Intrapersonal and Interpersonal skills - Ability to manage expectations from both internally & externally.
  • Strategic thinking for short to long term business plans with relevant stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Broad complex problem-solving skills to make strategic decisions and interpretations.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build trusting business relationships.
