Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis 2 (Pastry) to join our pastry team. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in baking and dessert preparation, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.

About the Role:

As a Commis 2 (Pastry), you will assist senior pastry chefs in preparing cakes, pastries, and desserts while ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation. You'll also help with daily mise en place, ingredient preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in the pastry kitchen. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their skills and advance in the pastry field.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and baking of pastries, cakes, and desserts. Follow recipes and instructions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section. Ensure ingredients are properly labeled and stored. Support senior pastry chefs during service and production. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience as Commis 3 (Pastry) or in a similar role. Basic knowledge of pastry and baking techniques. Passionate, creative, and willing to learn. Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsible and a good team player.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
