Clean and prepares all basic food items mise-en-place for both a la carte and buffet
Helps to prepare orders according to the standard procedures
Picked up food requisition from the store and well arranged all the items according to the FIFO system by expiry date
Cleaning and tidy up the walk in chiller for fresh items regularly as per instructed
Adheres strictly to the cleanliness of the kitchen area as well as equipment and machines
Maintain proper personal appearance including uniform, hat and name tag
Adheres strictly to the standard recipes for the various dishes and avoid the wastage
Checking and refilling the buffet items
To cut and clear food items from the buffet
Pay attention to the safety, security and energy saving rules
To avoid wastage of food items
Any other duties that maybe assigned to you from time to time / or as and when required
Job Requirements
Minimum SPM qualification
Preferable to have a degree or diploma on culinary course
Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices
