JOB DESCRIPTIONS



Assist the chef in running the kitchen on a daily basis and maintain the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. Assist with food preparation duties, including washing, chopping, slicing, and peeling fruits and preparing basic items like spices and sauces. Assisting the receiving and storing of food. Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that workstations and kitchen are properly sanitized. Plating and presenting meal items as per the Sous Chef instructions. Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required /assigned by the chef. Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS



At least SPM or Professional Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply At least one (1) year of similar work experience or two (2) years of work experience at a 3-5 star hotel A strong passion for food and culinary arts Have basic cooking experience and knowledge Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia Good interpersonal and communication skills Good organizational and time management skills Good analytical and problem-solving skills Creative, resourceful and attention to details Able to multi-task and work under pressure Able to work on all shifts including weekends and public holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 per month
