Assist in all food preparation tasks related to the Garde Manger station (cold kitchen).
Ensure mise en place is ready prior to each service and maintain par stocks.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
Prepare salads, cold appetizers, sandwiches, and other cold kitchen items as per recipes and standards.
Assist senior chefs with station setup and breakdown.
Properly label and store food items following HACCP guidelines.
Report any equipment malfunctions or food shortages to the supervisor promptly.
Ensure that food is prepared and presented according to hotel and quality standards.
Obtain and stock requisitioned items from the storeroom as needed.
Comply with all health and safety, food hygiene, and hotel policies.
Qualifications:
Vocational certificate or diploma in professional cuisine or culinary arts.
Prior experience in a cold kitchen or professional culinary environment is preferred.
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Competencies:
Basic culinary skills and knife handling.
Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Team player with a willingness to learn.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Effective communication in the national language and English.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
