About the role

Join the talented kitchen team at Destiny Holdings (M) Sdn. Bhd. as a Commis/Kitchen Assistant. This full-time position is based in Bintulu, Sarawak and is a great opportunity to learn and grow your culinary skills within a dynamic hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Head Chef and other cooks in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and cleaning of ingredients Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment Follow recipes and plating instructions to help deliver high-quality dishes Restock and inventory kitchen supplies as needed Assist with other ad-hoc kitchen duties as required

What we're looking for

Passion for food and a keen interest in the culinary arts Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene Good organisational and multitasking skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment Previous experience in a kitchen or catering role would be an advantage
