• Support Global Supplier Management (GSM) team mainly on assigned commodity.
• Responsible for all means of Cost reduction efforts (e.g Quote team, Business Win team, CSCM team, Quarterly RFQ, etc.) when requested by the manager.
• Negotiate with suppliers by any necessary method, i.e. email, cell phone, face to face, etc.
• Good negotiation skill
• Analyze/Prepare data and execute the quarterly price negotiation by part number level.
• Negotiate the best term & conditions with suppliers globally.
• Work with plant and supplier on critical supply chain issues (e.g. Expedites, Agility Program).
• Assist suppliers in obtaining payment for overdue accounts; keep in touch with suppliers/AP to ensure resolution.
• Review/Approve/Deny new Vendor Code (VCCS) request for payment term/supplier changes or new suppliers, review any questions with the manager prior to approval.
• Assist Manager to develop PSL supplier base and commodity strategy.
• Work with Component Engineering (GCE) team for any design opportunities.
• Intercompany coordinator with SANM Cable shop.
• Conduct Quarter Business Review (QBR) meetings with key and 2nd tier suppliers
• Others as assigned by the manager.
• Diploma/Degree in Business or any related background in Supply Chain

5 years experience in sourcing, purchasing or supply chain (Advantage if have experience with Interconnect commodity * Effective negotiator with attention to cost reduction details

• Excellent numerical skills, problem solving and organization skills with precise analysis of all facts.
• Proficient use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Oracle ERP experience a plus)
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills. Fluent in spoken English and can converse in Mandarin
