Be the first point of contact in Malaysia for all media loans.
Maintain a continuous programme of Press Releases to be sent out to the media, liaising constantly with the Press department in Paris to ensure that the content and the presentation are in line with Hermes standards.
Maintain a record of all press cuttings in the Malaysia media and compile copies for Paris.
Keep up-to-date with trends in the media and with the data on which choice of media is based (readership profile, circulation, reach, coverage, etc.)
Keep the media mailing list up to date.
Place all orders for printed material with the "Editions" department in Paris and ensure that it is used correctly.
Event:
Work closely with Communications team to plan and develop communications plans and activities.
Manages the planning and coordination of all communications events, such as product launch, exhibition and workshops.
Communicates with the various internal departments to ensure smooth operations between retail, product metiers, regional office, HQ and other supporting departments.
Responsible in mutual assistance working towards the common goal ie., organizing Hermes events, including VIC event, store opening event and theme event as assigned for a successful event operation (manages and supervises external parties in event organization such as contractors, vendors, promoters, venue coordinator, designers, printers, agencies, etc).
Reviews and controls activities budget.
Capture the awareness/media coverage/share-of-voice & mention from owned events.
Post event evaluations and analysis.
CRM:
Maintain the quality of the database by utilizing the Data Quality Management tool and by sensitizing the stores to data quality issues.
Build lists of customers for communications purposes (events, prints sending) or retail (clienteling).
Manage customer database as point of contact in supporting sales and communications objectives (e.g. provide suggestion on customer target segmentation for communications purpose).
Utilize and analyze the CRM information to support each store as required.
A point of contact and center of query\'s distribution in social media maintenance (when we receive query via FB/IG, she/he will act as point of contact and deliver message to concerned party, i.e. sales association, to contact/response the sender.).
Liaise with IT for system updates and any other technical issues.
Provide regular reports for management review.
Requirements:
Degree holder in Marketing, Communications or related disciplines.
At least 4 years\' relevant experience, ideally from luxury industry.
Proven track records in planning and implementing events, with strong technical background.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist is a plus.
Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
Visual communication and design expertise is a plus.
