The Role

  • Working closely with internal teams, lead the development and execution of PR programs from conception through completion to produce high-caliber work that aligns with business objectives
  • Support internal teams with localized content and develop internal content such as presentations, speeches, articles, press releases, newsletters, etc
  • Work with the digital team to create and implement organic content for social media channels
  • Manage influencer programs in key markets such as Malaysia and Indonesia
  • Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media
  • Track local press coverage and maintain documentation through monthly reporting for internal stakeholders
  • Organize and manage internal and external events for Boost, coordinating with local PR agencies to manage ongoing activities and fully execute local PR strategy
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Mass Communications, International Business or related fields
  • Minimum 4 - 6 years communications experience, preferably within the tech industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication - must be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of Mandarin and/or Bahasa Indonesia is a definite plus
  • Proven record of implementing and executing integrated campaigns for brands within the technology / fintech sector
  • Experience managing communities and social campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Facebook
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong relationships with media within the tech, business and fintech segments
  • A knack for telling impactful and engaging stories - able to communicate technology concepts that may be difficult to understand
  • Ability to see the bigger business picture and share that vision with the team
  • A collaborative team player who can work with agencies and multiple teams at all levels
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
