Company Description The Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC) has been the leading voice of Malaysian and Australian business since its establishment in 1986. The Council plays a critical role in advancing bilateral trade and investment while providing a range of services to its members based both in Malaysia and Australia. The MABC is associated with several Malaysian Government Institutions and works closely with the Australian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur and Austrade Malaysia. With a sturdy framework of partners, the MABC aims to foster goodwill and collaboration in the Malaysian and Australian business communities, providing a comprehensive platform for companies and individuals to successfully do business in Malaysia and Australia. Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Communications Department Intern located in Petaling Jaya at the Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC). The Communications Department Intern will be responsible for supporting the Communications Department in day-to-day tasks, assisting with external and internal communications, drafting press releases and speeches, and preparing communication materials such as reports and presentations. Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong creativity skills to develop engaging content Experience in strategic communications, public relations, and writing Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite Experience in content management systems and social media platforms Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties effectively in a fast-paced environment Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field Prior internship experience in a Communications role is a plus Fluency in English and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is preferred
