The services provided in NCSM follow the 3 main pillars namely Care, Educate and Support. The pillar of care focuses on the clinical services and aspects of NCSM namely early detection, community and corporate cancer screening programs. This position is required to work with communities, corporations and other organizations to conduct & plan cancer screening programs. Furthermore, this role involves dealing with many prominent figures in the public and private sector. Must be based in Johor.
The job description of the role is listed as follows:
1.
Plan and organise outreach programmes
, including:
o Community outreach for B40 groups (free cancer & health screenings).
o Corporate outreach programmes for employee wellness.
o Vaccination drives (e.g., HPV vaccine).
o Volunteer trainings on cancer and health screening.
2.
Manage logistics
for outreach programmes, including equipment, consumables, and documentation.
3.
Engage stakeholders
: Build and maintain partnerships with schools, corporations, community groups, and NGOs for outreach collaborations.
4.
Data Entry & Analysis
: Ensure accurate data entry for impact tracking and reporting.
5.
Administrative work:
Data entry, stakeholder engagement and inventory management.
Requirements & Preferred Experience
Bachelor's degree in health sciences, Psychology, Counselling, or related fields.
1-2 years of work experience in community outreach or patient-facing roles preferred (however, fresh graduates will also be considered)
Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy-driven communication.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu.
Competent in digital tools for data entry, reporting, and communication.
Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to community and hospital settings.
Willingness to travel interstate and on short notice; must have own transport.
