Proven experience as a Compensation & Benefits Specialist, Payroll Specialist, or related roles.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proficient in Mandarin, English and Malay. We are seeking candidates proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and relevant legislation (e.g., Minimum Wage Act, Employment Act) with strong understanding of payroll taxes, deductions, and benefits administration.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis), with strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Possession of SHRM-CP, CIPD, or AHRI certification is preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Tanggungjawab
Responsible for overseeing compensation and benefits operations, including expatriate management such as payroll, taxation, and mobility coordination.
Familiar with end to end payroll processes including overtime, allowances, deductions, and final pay.
Possess and exercise good knowledge of Malaysian regulation, tax law, statutory requirements and processes.
Responsible and able to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and delivery as per Payroll schedule; calendar of activities and overall data integrity of HR master data in the Payroll system.
Collaborate with internal teams to perform the monthly reconciliation data audit for the Payroll system.
Maintain accurate and updated record management for employee master data.
Liaise with local government statutory bodies such as LHDN, EPF, SOCSO.
Liaise with external vendors such as insurance providers, medical panels, wellness perks etc.
Collate and compile reports for department and management needs.
Able to supervise work of subordinates and provide guidance, resolve issues, and serve as a link between subordinates and upper management.
Any other ad-hoc duties as per required by the manager.
