Possess comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in applying global vessel design codes such as ASME, PED, and GB, including preparation of engineering calculations, procedures, and technical documentation.
Coordinate and manage certification activities with relevant sanctioning and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance.
Provide support during on-site validations and audits, ensuring design and process adherence to applicable standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain internal engineering and documentation processes, ensuring consistency and traceability across projects.
Collaborate with design and process engineers to develop and review supporting technical documentation.
Prepare and compile complete documentation packages, including calculations, Bills of Material (BOM), Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), Material Test Reports (MTRs), and ensure all documents meet regulatory and project requirements.
Perform design reviews for UHP gas purifier systems to ensure conformity with applicable engineering codes and safety standards.
Manage multiple projects concurrently, effectively prioritizing tasks and identifying potential schedule risks to ensure timely project delivery.
Apply BS/EN and ASME standards, conducting and documenting component evaluations per ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III, and use findings to enhance design efficiency and safety.
Prepare and review engineering specifications, mechanical data sheets, and technical bid evaluations, including vendor design calculations, fabrication drawings, WPS/PQR, and Inspection & Testing Plans (ITP) for approval.
Collaborate with Quality Control (QC) leads to perform critical inspection checkpoints during fabrication, installation, and commissioning, while coordinating with QC inspectors and cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues at all project stages.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related Science.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio)
Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
Detail oriented and strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
Able to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization.
Prefer Professional Engineer / Chartered Engineer.
Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software for the creation of drawings and models, preferably SolidWorks.
Filtration / Vessel application and sizing experience with the Industrial Process market such as Fuel / Chemicals,Offshore and Energy market segments.
Excellent documentation skills (Specifications, Test Plans, Test Reports).
Knowledge with international standards such as API, ASME, BS, and ANSI, Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) relevant to the domain of chemical process plant operations.
Good knowledge and experience in inspection of pressure vessels fabrication, materials, welding and NDE.
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is preferred).
