Detailed Description:

Entry level during which an employee receives both functional and organizational training under close supervision. Incumbents carry out assignments within well-defined practices, procedures and policies. Works independently on details of assignments, and has limited decision-making authority; most decisions are made or guided by the immediate supervisor. Decisions/actions may have an impact on the department\'s/division\'s goals. Works under close Supervision and requires direction on how assignments are to be executed; begins to put forward ideas on how work assignments are completed. Establishes cooperative relationships to work effectively with colleagues; supports others and participates as a team member, and takes responsibility for own work commitments. Interacts directly with immediate supervisor, co-workers and team members; engages in routine exchanges of information; interactions with external contacts would be monitored.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Support and execute activities related to global environmental, sustainability and regulatory compliance such as supplier engagement and compliance data analysis
• Survey global supplier to understand their readiness for Conflict Minerals due diligence by obtaining relevant report / disclosure from suppliers.
• Analyze and validate supplier compliance data to ensure completeness, accuracy and integrity of data.
• Identify risks in supply chain and work with the suppliers to mitigate the risks on Conflict Minerals due diligence.
• Communicate with customers on inquiries or requests on product environmental and sustainability compliance.
• Maintenance of environmental, sustainability and regulatory compliance database system

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

• Engineering Foundation Competencies
• Ability to evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external suppliers/customers.
• Some background of handling overseas customer/suppliers is an advantage.
• Knowledge on product environmental regulations is an advantage.
• Proficency in English communication (verbal & written).
• Intermediate proficiency level or above in Japanese (minimally N2 level) /Korean language (minimally Grade 4 level)
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel required

Typical Experience:

• Zero to two years\' relevant experience.
• Global supplier engagement.
• Data management and processing.
• Awareness of global product environmental and sustainability legislation requirements.

Typical Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering related fields or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fresh graduates/ entry level applicants are encouraged to apply
