A. Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented GRC Project Compliance Officer to support our Client while reporting directly to the GRC Manager. This role serves as the compliance point of contact for the project, with primary responsibility for integrity monitoring, risk detection, and compliance enforcement within the project environment. The position ensures that all project operations comply with company-wide governance, risk, and compliance standards.

B. Key Responsibilities

1. Project-Level Compliance Support

Act as the compliance focal point for our Client, ensuring adherence to both internal and client requirements.

Conduct site assessments and compliance checks specific to project activities.

Provide compliance feedback and observations to project stakeholders (Hub Manager, regional level) and escalate issues to the GRC Manager when necessary.

2. Risk Monitoring & Integrity Audits

Perform periodic audits of security cameras, entry/exit logs, and project-related site records.

Monitor personnel in real time for abnormal status or behavior and escalate as required.

Conduct checks of support role emails, chat logs, and communication platforms to ensure compliance.

Carry out visual compliance rounds, including verification of PC local data when required.

3. Reporting & Governance

Prepare compliance and integrity reports for Hub Manager & GRC Manager, with specific insights on project-level findings.

Maintain accurate audit documentation, trackers, and incident logs.

Report any suspected irregularities, breaches, or misconduct with supporting evidence.

4. Collaboration & Training

Work closely with the project team to strengthen compliance culture and risk awareness.

Support ad-hoc investigations or escalations requested by the Hub Manager or GRC Manager.

Assist in the delivery of compliance training and awareness sessions for project staff.

C. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Criminology, Security/Information Management, or related field.

1-3 years of experience in governance, risk, compliance, audit, or integrity monitoring roles (BPO or project-based experience an advantage).

Strong attention to detail, with proven ability to identify compliance gaps and risks.

High integrity with the ability to handle confidential data discreetly.

Familiarity with audit processes, compliance frameworks, and monitoring tools.

Independent, reliable, and able to manage dual reporting lines (to both Project and GRC).

D. Working Location

Based at the organization's headquarters with potential travel to other sites as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
