Job Description

Responsibilities:

Monitor daily transactions to detect suspicious activities, fraud, and AML/CFT risks. Perform periodic compliance reviews and internal audits on payment operations. Develop and update compliance policies, SOPs, and training materials for staff. Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports (e.g., BNM, Labuan FSA, MAS if relevant). Handle regulatory inquiries and support licensing audits for payment gateway operations. Work with product and technical teams to implement compliance checks and risk monitoring tools. Monitor changes in payment regulations (e.g., AMLA, FSA, PSD2) and advise management on updates. Manage onboarding KYC/KYB processes for merchants in accordance with regulatory requirements. Liaise with banks, card schemes, and payment partners to address compliance matters. Support fraud prevention investigations and prepare incident reports when needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fields. At least 2 years of experience in compliance, preferably in fintech, payment gateway, or financial institutions. Knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, payment gateway operations, and transaction monitoring. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
