Main responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure the reporting institution puts in place adequate AML/CFT/KYC/ABAC policies as required by the law. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure proper implementation of those AML/CFT/KYC/ABAC policies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure all relevant staff are aware of the firm\xe2\x80\x99s AML/CFT/KYC/ABAC measures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Establish relevant internal criteria or red flags to detect suspicious transactions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate any internally generated suspicious transaction reports before reporting to Bank Negara Malaysia. \xe2\x80\xa2 Regularly assess the AML/CFT/KYC/ABAC control measures and procedures. Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field. \xe2\x80\xa2 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 proven experience in a compliance officer role. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Brilliant oral and written communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
