We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Compliance Officer
to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support the company's compliance operations and ensure that all activities adhere to the Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) regulatory requirements as well as applicable laws, rules, and industry standards.
COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in handling compliance matters and act as a supporting liaison with Labuan FSA on regulatory submissions, reports, and correspondence.
Support the implementation and monitoring of AML/CFT policies and procedures in accordance with Labuan FSA guidelines.
Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) and review onboarding documentation to ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and CFT requirements.
Assist in preparing and updating compliance manuals, policies, and internal procedures.
Support internal compliance reviews and audits to identify and address gaps in regulatory compliance.
Monitor updates on regulatory developments and assist in assessing their impact on business operations.
Provide compliance awareness and training support to staff to promote a culture of compliance.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure compliance controls are effectively implemented across operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Minimum 2-4 years of working experience in compliance, preferably within the financial services or banking industry under the Labuan FSA regulatory framework.
Possession of AML/CFT or compliance-related certification (e.g., CAMCO, ICA, ACAMS, CFCS) will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of Labuan FSA guidelines, AML/CFT requirements, and financial regulatory obligations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
