Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager, supports the development and execution of the company's compliance, risk management, and governance frameworks. The role ensures that internal controls are effective, regulatory obligations are met, and risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. This position acts as a key liaison between departments to promote a strong compliance culture and effective risk oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the implementation of compliance policies and procedures in line with applicable regulations. Perform KYC for new and existing customers. Monitor customer activities and transactions, analyze unusual patterns, and investigate potential suspicious activities. Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and other mandatory reports with regulators within stipulated timelines. Support development and delivery of compliance/risk training to employees to strengthen compliance awareness across the organization. Execute compliance/risk testing to ensure effectiveness of controls Assist with regulators and law enforcement agencies requests Support HOD in all other compliance & risk matters

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, Risk Management, or a related field. 4-5 years of experience in compliance, AML/CFT, or risk management (experience in financial services orcrypto industry preferred). Good regulatory knowledge Proven analytical, investigative, and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Chinese reading and speaking High level of integrity, independence, and professional judgment.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
