Job Description

Our client is one of the Malaysia\xe2\x80\x99s leading Software Specialist company, that develops and provides customize Software solution with high quality, web application development, online marketing, and maintenance services for multinational corporations, huge businesses, as well as SMEs is looking for a Computer Programmer/R&D Engineer to be based in Butterworth, Penang.

• To perform activities of requirement gatherings and producing specifications for new or modified features, products, and capabilities, aligned with the organization standards.
• Uses product and customer applications knowledge to determine, define, develop, and validate design concepts and methods and meet product/development cost and schedule.
• Process analysis, design, implementation, problem solving, system testing (UAT) and bug fixes.
• In charge of facilitating and leading transition of product design and enhancements to full production/delivery.
• Expected to participate in and carry out projects to research, develop, testing and deploy IoT Solutions.
• Perform IoT Platform installation, configuration, and update both on-cloud and on-premises.
• Provide technical support and feasibility study on application level.

Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Electrical / Electronic) or equivalent.
• 1-2 Years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in programming (Python, C#, SignalR, MVC), SQL, relational databases, software development and systems.
• Hands on experience with data acquisition, database selection, data analytics and setup.
• Good understanding of machine learning, data analytics and visualization.
• Team player with ability to work in a team and individual contributor.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English.

• Butterworth: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• at least 2 out of the 4 languages (Python, C#, SignalR, MVC): 1 year (Required)
