Construction Lead

On-site (Malaysia)

Role Overview:

To oversee the General Contractor's daily operations, ensuring that construction activities (Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP) adhere to the design specifications, quality standards, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Monitoring:

Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress against the Look-ahead Schedule. Verify physical work in place against monthly payment applications.

Constructability:

Review design drawings and technical submittals to identify constructability issues or conflicts prior to execution.

Coordination:

Facilitate problem-solving between the GC, Design Team, and Client SMEs regarding RFI (Request for Information) responses and technical queries.

Logistics:

Monitor site logistics plans, laydown areas, and crane usage to ensure efficient site flow.

Permitting:

Assist in tracking local authority inspections (Bomba, TNB, Local Council) to ensure timely approvals and Certificate of Fitness (CCC).

OFCI Management:

Coordinate the receipt and installation of Owner Furnished Equipment (Generators, Chillers, Transformers) with the Logistics Manager.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

10-12 years in large-scale construction, with specific experience in industrial or data center projects.

Technical:

Deep knowledge of construction sequencing, concrete/steel structures, and MEP coordination.

Software:

Proficiency in viewing BIM models (Revit/Navisworks) and schedule tracking.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
