\xe2\x80\xa2 Establish the construction management function for the project, considering existing company project management, contracting and construction procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and schedule all construction activities, including site establishment and site preparation. Manage the construction safety program. Have regular meetings with the Safety Manager to review adherence to the procedures, to identify risks and areas for improvement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage the construction schedule. Create and distribute a three-week look-ahead schedule; review with scheduler as needed to clarify input of current schedule impacts to the project master schedule. Have regular meetings with the Project Controls Manager to review adherence to the baseline schedule, identify risks and areas for improvement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and coordinate a project from start to finish including organizing the schedule of work, costing, and budget. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage the construction quality plans. Have regular meetings with the Quality Manager to review adherence to the quality procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support team instructions to take temporary measures to mitigate and keep works safe and within Quality standards. Follow up by taking appropriate and proportionate action (e.g. issue communications, call meetings) to avoid the halt of work \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage the construction and erection contractors in terms of the relevant contracts. Have regular contract review meetings with the person in charge to review adherence to contractual requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible to maintain all construction records. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain a daily construction log and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with Contractors to mitigate variator orders; communicate to project team potential impact; work with PM and Engineering Contractor to formulate solutions which minimize overall cost impact to project. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review and advise PM regarding Contractors\' related RFI questions, potential solutions and potential impacts to quality and schedule; maintain file of RFIs submitted and answered for access at project site. \xe2\x80\xa2 Effectively implements and manages plans, actions, procedures, and improvement strategies decided by the project management team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Submit necessary reports and recommendations to the Project Manager concerning project status and problems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure construction personnel are competent and received sufficient trainings before commencement of any works. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure compliance with ISO Quality Procedure Manual; and \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as and when required or attend ad-hoc matters assigned by Superior. Essential for this role: \xe2\x80\xa2 Preferable candidate who has experience in Semiconductor & Cleanroom Industry. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong Microsoft Office skills; able to manipulate data in spreadsheets \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience working with Microsoft Project is desirable but not essential \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong relationship building skills
