Head all site construction activities and logistic control management
Manage and oversea the day to day construction management of the project
To plan, develop and organize the construction methodology in the most cost effective plan to timely completion within budget and to implement the execution of that plan
Track, monitor and review progress against master program and report to Project Manager of project details, including progress, delays, risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
Monitor & assessment of performance of direct contractor /NSCs /suppliers and report to Project manager on frequent basis
Monitor construction work items against Bill of Quantities. Alert Project Manager and Contract Department when discrepancies detected.
Prepare construction methods / plants & machinery / works programme / technical submission for Project Manager to review.
Attend all client / consultant meetings. Liaise with client & consultants on construction and technical matters
Review coordination of C&S, Architectural and M&E construction details before execute the works
Ensure the daily progress / site records are in order
Attends meetings with sub-contractor / NSCs / suppliers
Ensure compliance of specification / QC plan / Authority requirement
Assist in valuation of work done and performance to direct contractor / NSCs / suppliers
Ensure department objective and procedures are established, reviewed and implemented
Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to all the team members.
Review man-hours and duration forecasts to completion for construction works and determine the manpower and resources requirements
Initiate internal staff meeting to update progress of project for site staff including house rules, safety, quality system implementation etc.
Review all incoming outgoing site document, determine personnel for action
Review performance of Supplier and Subcontractors periodically.
Lead Construction Team on day to day basis.
To prepare Monthly Progress Report, Project Performance Meeting Report (PPM) for Management, besides any other reports as requested by Superiors/ Management.
To propose alternative solutions for Management's review and decision should disputes arise due to site condition prior forwarding the proposal to the Consultant for further consideration.
To ensure all material submissions are submitted using the official Contractor Submission (CS) Form for Consultant's Review and Approvalprior commencing with any physical work activities.
To ensure Trade Mock-ups are carried-out for all relevant trades within the project prior proceeding with relevant work activities.
To issue a Subcontractor Action Required (SCAR) notice to relevant subcontractor where poor workmanship, Non- Compliance with specifications, or the use of unapproved materials is observed.
Reinforce a strict "Safety First" policy on site, with zero tolerance for any breaches of safety protocols and/or relevant regulatory acts in force.
Requirements:
Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering / Building or suitably recognized field that is applicable.
At least 5 - 10 years working experience in construction field.
With relevant qualification and experience only will be considered
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001
Possess good leadership, communication and negotiation skill
Computer literate
MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD and others as applicable

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
