Project Planning & Coordination
Lead meetings with consultants to ensure all technical specifications, design details, and tender drawings are accurately captured.
Review tender documents prior to issuance to ensure all contractual, technical, and commercial requirements are clearly defined.
Plan, schedule, and manage project phases including budgeting, cost control, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
Project Execution & Monitoring
Coordinate and liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, authorities, and site teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor project progress and ensure work complies with approved drawings, contractual specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and project meetings to identify issues, track progress, and form corrective action plans.
Ensure site progress matches billing stages to support timely payment claims and healthy cash flow.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Drive construction quality assurance by reviewing and implementing project procedures, inspection processes, and quality standards.
Ensure contractors follow safety guidelines, regulatory requirements, and environmental compliance.
Liaise with local authorities for submissions, approvals, and inspections including CCC (Certificate of Completion and Compliance).
Issue Resolution & Leadership
Proactively resolve technical, operational, and design issues by working closely with consultants and contractors.
Provide leadership, motivation, and clear direction to site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Manage variations, change orders, extensions of time, and mitigation plans where necessary.
Qualification:
Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or any related field.
Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in project management within the construction or property development industry (can adjust based on your hiring level).
Strong understanding of tender processes, contract administration, Bills of Quantities (BQ), variation orders, progress claims, and cost control.
Solid knowledge of construction sequencing, building codes, regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Proficient in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with authorities, consultants, and contractors.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Mandarin-speaking ability is an advantage for dealing with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
