About the Role:

invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of

Consular Officer

. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and consular support, assisting Singapore citizens in Johor, and liaising with Malaysian authorities and relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consular assistance to Singapore citizens in Johor, including handling inquiries, documentation, and emergency support. Prepare, process, and manage consular and administrative correspondence. Liaise professionally with Malaysian government departments, law enforcement agencies, and service providers on consular-related matters. Assist in the coordination of official visits, meetings, and events organised by the Consulate. Maintain accurate and confidential records, databases, and reports. Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Consulate's management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Possess a Diploma or Degree in Administration, International Relations, or a relevant field. Prior experience in government liaison, embassy, or public administration is an advantage. Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills. High level of discretion, professionalism, and commitment to service. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Possess own transport and willing to travel within Johor as required.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
