The Consultant role is to deliver, and support the team in the delivery of the Consulting projects. You will be expected to provide data analysis using Mintel\'s suite of products and secondary desk research where applicable. The Consultant will at times be required to work independently on projects. Key Responsibilities:
Interpreting data into meaningful stories with commercial conclusions using Mintel\'s full product portfolio
Preparing analysis and insight to fit client needs using, where necessary, a combination of Mintel products and bespoke research, specialising in both qualitative and quantitative research
Work alongside colleagues in the Consulting team and associated departments to ensure project timeline goals are achieved
Presenting insight either in person or via phone/webex, being confident working directly with clients in a creative, analytical and strategic manner coupled with engaging presentation skills
Organised and efficient \xe2\x80\x93 managing own diary and client projects effectively
Essential to the role is a close collaboration with multiple teams across Mintel
It is expected that a Consultant will have:
Highly developed analytical skills, able to interpret a wealth of information from different sources to build compelling stories with a commercial conclusion
Creative problem solving is critical; being able to spot an opportunity; stretch a client\'s thinking and then validating the output
Experience of quantitative research methods
Broad understanding of innovation processes and methodologies
Comfortable presenting to C-level audiences
Fluency in written and spoken English, with first class communication skills
Successful Candidates will:
Have 3+ year\'s work experience within an FMCG environment, either client or agency side
Experience working ons regional project is advantageous
Have a \'can do\' attitude, bundles of enthusiasm and a keenness to learn and grown within a fast-paced agency environment
Have commercial awareness and an understanding of Mintel competencies
Contribute to creative thinking workshops
Prepare data sets and topline analysis for client projects
Be organised with strong time-management skills
