As a Developer within Deloitte Digital, you are part of a team of creative, visionary minds of many disciplines who put future-forward thinking into projects that push the edges of technology to support digital change of our clients. You\'ll be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential. You will be involved in: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality mobile applications. Create and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for hybrid mobile applications. Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability Bug fixing and improving application performance Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency across the team. Contribute to our internal community of developers by hosting workshops and sharing learning content for developing breadth and depth of knowledge. You are someone with: Proven experience in mobile app development, with a focus on React Native (front end - mobile). Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns. Proficiency in ReactJS and/or React Native, CSS, PostgreSQL databases, Javascript, Typescript, and/or Node.js. Familiarity with at least one RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL database (e.g., MongoDB, Amazon DocumentDB). Experience with state management and API integrations. Familiarity with version control systems (Git and Git workflows), CI/CD pipelines and tools, and testing frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bonus Skills: Experience with hybrid mobile development. Knowledge of backend technologies and API development.
