SUMMARY At Teleport, we\xe2\x80\x99re on a mission to innovate in the traditional cargo and delivery industry. To enable everyone, from single merchants to the largest companies, to move goods and e-commerce anywhere in Southeast Asia and beyond. To simply work, like magic. Therefore it\xe2\x80\x99s critical to ensure our content is relevant, engaging and attracts audiences ranging from major e-commerce players, individuals who want parcels delivered to industry players, and potential investors. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a qualified Content Marketing, Specialist who will be the face of the brand and an advocate for it. As a Content Marketing, Specialist, you will be working with a team of 2-3 and will be based out of our office in Wisma Tune, Damansara Heights, KL. This scope will cover all related business for Teleport across the region. You will be expected to perform this role on a Full-Time basis. You will fit perfectly if you enjoy a fast-paced working environment, are creative, analytical, organised, and pay crazy attention to details. Being a natural self-starter and having a strong, organised, and structured way of delivering your thoughts will make you stand out in this application! SALARY RANGE : RM 4,200 - RM6,300 A DAY IN A LIFE As a start-up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
  • Develop, plan, implement, and manage our social media content, campaigns, and strategy for our Business and Consumer segments
  • Monitor replies on social media and reviews (Google My Business, Facebook) and suggest responses to best interact with audience
  • Define the most important social media KPIs and measure the performance of your content against that.
  • Work with the creative team to create content that meets objectives that attracts and engages the right audience. This includes all forms of text, image and video content.
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Implement and use social media marketing tools.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, PR, Sales and Product Development teams
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Build relationships with customers

SKILLS These are minimum-requirement skills and a \xe2\x80\x98must-have\xe2\x80\x99 for the role:
  • Language Skills: Highly proficient in English
  • Proven work experience in Content Marketing, Social Media or Community management
  • Expertise in social media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, etc.)
  • Able to turn strategies and plans into action
  • Possess a knack for creative writing
  • Editorial mindset with the ability to predict audience preferences
  • Project management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changes
  • Data-driven and analytical.
  • Independent and requires minimal supervision
  • Meticulous and self-driven
  • Able to think critically and analytically
These are skills that are \xe2\x80\x98nice to have\xe2\x80\x99 and will make you stand out in the job application:
  • Able to create graphics or video content without external assistance
  • Prior experience in a similar role for e-commerce and/or logistics products
  • Prior experience managing both B2B and B2C products
  • Able to write and speak well in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin
  • Prior experience managing content management systems (WordPress etc.)
  • Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
  • People person and team player
  • Have a strong network of creators
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Social Media / Digital Marketing, or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
