An opportunity has arisen for a content writer to work on our internationally distributed financial publishing products. This role is our editorial department involves working from home in Malaysia under our local subsidiary, Reportal Sdn Bhd. This vacancy is open to Malaysian citizens and residents only; all applications from outside Malaysia will be rejected. Job Requirements: Required language(s) Excellent English writing skills imperative - please specify if English is your first language. Candidate must mention related English test results in the portfolio, for example, SPM, MUET, IELTS, Diploma or University English subject (If any) Understanding grammar rules and how to construct clear sentences Being mindful of things like flow, readability, and sentence variety The ability to cooperate with other writers and editors to complete projects The ability to give feedback on writing projects No previous work experience required Required Skill(s) English, English Grammar, Article Editing. Self-discipline, responsible and good time management skills Job Scopes: Completing writing projects, meeting weekly deadlines and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications Revising and improving existing content Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources and studies) Helping create style guides or suggesting changes to ensure content is consistent and clear Familiarity with using web search engines, Google Alerts. Willingness to participate in occasional online meetings (during ordinary business hours). The ability to respond promptly and professionally (during ordinary business hours), i.e. must be available at all times by phone or email during work hours The ability to learn from constructive criticism. Attention to detail.
