Contract for ServiceLocation: Malaysia (MY), Site BasedCompany: Sarawak Energy Berhad, Project Delivery (50034027), Transmission Line (50034157),Number of Openings: 15Job Category: ContractClosing Date: 14 April 2024SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Responsible and accountable for the site supervision of project construction & installation works of contractors.
• Ensure the construction/installation works are in accordance with the specification.
• Assist to liaise with various government agencies and public authorities in matters regarding smooth implementation of transmission line.
• Monitor the weekly progress of works is as schedule.
• Assist to coordinate with site supervisor of various contractors, consultants etc. in the construction / installation of the works.
• Assist to coordinate with surveyors for the survey of new transmission line route and spotting towers online profile as well as checking boreholes / SPT works on site.
• Keep and update site records, marked-up drawing and progress reports.
• Witness the related field engineering works and testing on site.
• Guide a team of Technical Assistants in supervision works by ensuring construction works are executed as per technical specification, expected quality and adherence to safety policies.
• Assist engineer to verify progress/material on site and get involve in joint measurement certificates.
• Ensure all the relevant safety and environment procedure at site are maintained and complied with project specification.

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING):

• Understand and resolve project related matters including HSSE, land & wayleave, technical and regular & permitting.
• Find root cause of any project related issues and address it timely.
• Work with any respective personnel/individual on project related matters.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering from Institutions of Higher Learning recognized by the Company.
• Minimum 6 years relevant working experience.
• Working at height certificate.
