Contract for ServiceLocation: Malaysia (MY), Sarawak Energy (SEB)Company: Sarawak Energy Berhad, Project Delivery (50034027), Transmission Substations (50034149),Number of Openings: 3Job Category: ContractClosing Date: 14 September 2024SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Coordinate with project team members (Construction, Engineering, Quality etc.) in project management as well as sharing of technical knowledge and lesson learnt.
• Assist Project Managers on the activities and deliverables for Transmission Substation Projects in Concept, Pre-Engineering & Execution Phases in full compliance with the provisions of the contract.
• Effective coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely on time, within budget and meeting quality standard.
• Manage contractor\'s detailed design for compliance, site works supervision, verify engineering work done, establish formal handover of project, and proper Contract closing.
• Plan for project needs including implementation schedule and review the project progress report.
• Ensure Factory and Site Acceptance Tests are carried out in full compliance with the Contract requirements and international engineering standards.
• Conducting meetings including keeping meeting minutes and records.
• Ensure SEB Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policy (HSSE) at work and Life-Saving Rules are strictly adhered to.

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING):

• Managing internal and external stakeholder i.e. Asset Owners, contractors.
• Meeting project original timeline when there is scope creep to the project work scope.
• Handling new contractors that are unfamiliar with SEB expectations particularly in Health, Safety, Security and Environment area as well as Quality Assurance / Quality Control.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering (recognized by Malaysia Education Department).
• Registered with BEM.
• Other competencies such as from PMI or EIU would be an advantage.
• Must have at least 3 years working experience in a role related to Transmission Substations, construction field or in project management role in the power utility business or construction industry.
• Working experience as engineering designer, Resident Engineer and quality engineer could be an added advantage.
