SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Ensuring compliance in the setup, implementation, and execution of project quality management activities.
• Implement and execute inspection activities related to 8 Quality Focus Areas.
• Provide support on the job training for Sarawak Energy\'s staffs and contractors in Civil QC inspections.
• Perform quality reviews both internally and externally on inspection activities, documents and test data.
• Involvement in Project Technical Assurance (PTA) PQM activities which include conformance quality audits and health checks.
• Execute MC Walkdown at site to ensure conformance to technical/equipment specifications and contract requirements and to monitor the rectifications due to non- conformances.
• Provide support in material in material inspection, pre-construction inspection, monitoring during construction and post construction inspection for Combined Cycle Gas Turbine power plant that compromise of Gas Turbine and Heat Recovery Steam Generator System, and Balance of Plant System.

• Ability to review and verify the quality inspection work independently and focus on quality requirements.
• Consistency to stay objective in performing project quality assurance and control.
• Able to work persistently towards getting a positive outcome in Quality Management.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering (Civil)
• Must have at least 4 years working experience in project supervision or Civil QAQC Inspection.
• Possess relevant experience in project quality inspection, monitoring, testing and performance evaluation for civil & structural work that include architectural, foundation, building, facilities and marine works.
• Able to read and understand shop drawings, P&ID, job method statement, inspection test plan and able to assess the conformance of work against drawing/specification
• Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System is an added advantage.
• Possess valid CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent and NACE Level 1 or IMM Certified Coating Inspector or equivalent is an added advantage
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to understand and communicate in local language, e.g. Bahasa Iban, Bahasa Sarawak or Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Possesses Class D driving licenses or above.
